Join PCCEP’s for a Steering Committee Meeting, Wednesday, May 27th
from 6-8:30pm in person at the Portland Building or online via Zoom.
Dinner will be provided.

PCCEP will be discussing the committee’s priorities and deciding what to work on for the next quarter.

Here’s what’s on the agenda:

  • Meeting with Mayor Wilson – The committee will discuss ideas and plans for the next bi-annual meeting with Mayor Wilson. This is a key opportunity to bring community priorities directly to City leadership.
  • Proposal of Community Engagement Focus Areas – The committee will review focus areas identified at previous steering committees, introduce new ideas, and discuss how each focus connects to PCCEP’s mission and goals related to policing and public safety.
  • Community Input – This is your chance to influence what PCCEP prioritizes in the months ahead. We want to hear what public safety and police accountability issues are important to you, your neighborhood, and your community.
    • What issues feel most urgent to you right now?
    • Who should be part of the conversation?
    • Is anything being overlooked?

Together, we can make Portland’s approach to public safety more accountable, transparent, and community driven. We hope to see you there!

Detailed Agenda

If you’re unable to make the meeting, we still want to hear from you! You can email us at PCCEPinfo@portlandoregon.gov or use our PCCEP Public Comment Form to share what you think the committee should work on.
