From its origin as a fall event, the combined community of Buckman and Kerns neighborhoods have hosted an annual spring clean-up since the 1990s, providing residents a chance to recycle or dispose of disused items from their households, and to support, through donations, various activities of the neighborhoods, including picnics, holiday gatherings, and other occasions.
Donation: $15-40 depending on load (bicyclists are free). Money raised goes toward the costs of the collection event and for other neighborhood events in the Kerns and Buckman communities.
