7:00pm Jennifer Shuch, Portland: Neighbors Welcome – Inner Eastside for All
The Inner Eastside for All concept proposes to re-legalize a broader range of housing types, up to multi-family mixed-use buildings (what we call “four floors and corner stores”), throughout the Inner Eastside. Our goal is to address the housing crisis by making sure that our neighborhoods have housing options that work for people of all stages, wages, and ages. The suggested boundaries for this re-zone run from SE 12th out to 60th, from NE Fremont down to Powell Blvd. The Southeast Examiner recently wrote a helpful article about this new campaign.
