Kerns Neighborhood banners have been installed in the Kerns neighborhood. The Kerns Neighborhood Association designed the banners and chose the locations for them and had them printed and installed. They are now installed on light posts throughout the Kerns Neighborhood to identify the neighborhood to all who pass. Previously many people didn’t know the boundaries of the Kerns neighborhood — and often confused it with Laurelhurst or Buckman. These banners will provide a clear identity for the neighborhood and the Kerns neighborhood association hopes that more people will get involved with their neighborhood now that they know what neighborhood they’re in!
