Our Fundraiser at Migration turned out to be a fun event with great weather, four bingo winners, and live music throughout the evening. Our Kerns neighbor Doc Woods had planned to entertain us with song and guitar but injured a finger the weekend before. The night was rescued by wonderful Kerns neighbors MyLinda and Fred King and Dave Weaver. The marimba band with MyLinda, Fred, Parker Ediger, and their guest from Zimbabwe Michael Sibanda opened the evening with a lively set, joined by Claudia Sneathen on a couple of numbers. After some bingo, board member Dave Weaver of VaedaVision entertained us with some of his original indie songs. Lovely music, lovely people, lovely weather.
Thank you to the musicians, to Hollywood Theatre for the awesome bingo prizes and to MIGRATION BREWING for hosting us! The event turned out to be so successful that we plan to do another one in the spring and hope to see you all again!
