Access Discount Program
If the price of activities is too high, Portland residents can register for an Access Discount to get reduced pricing. No proof of income is required. Learn more about the Access Discount Program, which is made possible thanks to the Parks Local Option Levy. Access Discounts must be renewed yearly.

Swim Lessons: East Portland Community Center has space in in a variety of swim lessons for all ages.
Explore your Parks: The Explore Your Park Series is a free, drop-in program for all ages that offers hands-on activities, scavenger hunts, creature features, guided park tours, and more
Art Opportunities:
- Calling all artists! Mt. Scott Community Center is looking for local artists to feature on their Art Wall. Exhibits are up for six weeks in the main hallway of our bustling community center! Apply Here.
- Southwest Community Center has a new art installation! Exhibit features artwork by Mak Tucker and Carlos Marquez. Event is 6-7:30pm on Thursday, April 16, 2026. Artwork on display April 16 to May 28 2026.
- Community Music Center youth ensemble, pre-teens and teens express yourself in song, explore your voice, and prepare music to inspire others.
