We wanted to invite you to an upcoming art engagement for the future memorial at Lone Fir Cemetery. Artist team, Qi You and Sophia Xiao-fan Austrins, will be building upon their previous engagements. There will be opportunities to make offerings out of clay and the artists will be soliciting your input for special approaches to the east entrance.
The engagement will be held on Saturday March 7th 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Oregon Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association (CCBA 315 NW Davis St, Portland, OR 97209).
The event is free and open to all. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Remember the clay offerings made by you and I last spring? Come join us to imagine together how they will mark our traditions, old and new. We will have additional opportunities for clay making, and we want your thoughts on some special approaches to the East entrance. Let us get together infused in the aroma of Chinese food and mingle our thoughts, especially in this historical time we live in.
