This month’s highlights: Winter fundraising thank you, CCC in the news, podcast episode 10, new on the blog, and exciting community events!

As we start the new year, we want to extend a heartfelt thank-you for the many ways you support CCC throughout the year. Your generosity helps ensure our most vulnerable neighbors can access the care and support they need.
During our year-end giving season, your support came together in powerful ways, bringing warmth, dignity, and joy to families across our community while sustaining compassionate, life-saving services:
- $87,734 raised through Give!Guide
- $299,000 raised through checks, cash, and grants
- Over 200 children living in our family housing programs had their holidays brightened through gifts from Holiday Wish and the Giving Tree
Thank you for standing with CCC and for continuing to show up for our community in so many meaningful ways. You are truly appreciated.

Upcoming Community Events
Advocacy Day 2026 | February 12
On Thursday, February 12, from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, our friends at Oregon Recovers are inviting the recovery community, along with friends and family, to gather at the Oregon State Capitol in Salem for Advocacy Day 2026.
Participants will rally together and meet directly with state legislators to help protect and preserve critical funding and advocate for a recovery-based continuum of care that treats addiction as a chronic disease. Registration is free, snacks and lunch are provided, and you can participate in legislative meetings, the midday rally, or both. The goal is to show up strong with 1,000+ voices.
Love Letter to Old Town | February 19
Join CCC, Peter Meijer Architects, and Old Town Pizza on Thursday, February 19, from 6–8 pm, for a nostalgic evening celebrating Portland’s Old Town and Chinatown neighborhoods. Enjoy a pizza tasting while learning about the area’s rich history and architecture, with proceeds benefiting CCC.
