We are living and leading in a time of immense challenge—a time when systems meant to support children and families are under pressure, and inequities persist. Too often, laws, processes, and institutions divide rather than support communities. And yet, in the midst of it all, I remain hopeful.
At All Hands Raised, our purpose is clear: to improve educational systems across Multnomah County, with equity at the center of everything we do. Our NEW Strategic Framework, shaped by community voices, is more than a roadmap—it’s a living guide that evolves as we listen, learn, and respond to the needs of students, families, and partners.
This fall, we are actively laying the foundation for impact. By building strong data systems and deepening partnerships, we are aligning our work with community priorities and the Strategic Framework. Our focus is always on the children and youth who have historically been underserved—because no child should be left behind.
Real, lasting change cannot happen alone. As a backbone organization, we connect systems, center student and family voices, and coordinate collective action to drive impact that lasts. Please consider investing in educational equity, and help us build a brighter future for every child.
