The 28th Avenue Promenade Project is a proposed project that would close NE 28th Avenue between Burnside and Flanders for the purpose of creating a community space and allowing restaurants to serve customers outside in a safer environment that is possible inside – due to COVID-19.

Ankeny Plaza is a PBOT Healthy Business project on SE Ankeny St between SE 28th and 27th avenue. While it’s technically in the Buckman Neighborhood – it’s right on the border with Kerns Neighborhood on 28th avenue – and is part of the Kerns Business district. Come check it out
